One-page athlete profile checklist
Use this to prepare a factual, readable one-page summary. It is not a recruiting promise or an evaluation of an athlete.
1. Decide the reader and purpose
- Name the immediate use: camp introduction, team communication, personal record, or another specific context.
- Use one primary reader. A page for a coach and a page for a family can emphasize different facts.
2. Bring only verifiable basics
- Player name, sport, position or role, and graduation year only if you want it shown.
- Teams, seasons, relevant measurements, and links you can verify.
- Contact information for an adult contact where appropriate.
3. Label unknowns instead of guessing
- Keep conflicting or missing details out until they are confirmed.
- Do not turn an aspiration into an achievement.
- Do not imply coach endorsement, rankings, offers, or recruitment status without a source.
4. Protect private information
- Keep private medical or school records, home addresses, and account logins off a shareable profile. Include other personal facts only when the athlete and adult contact approve sharing them.
- Get permission before using any photo. A profile can work without one.
- Use a parent or guardian contact for a minor when contact information is needed.
5. Make the scan easy
- Keep the purpose, key facts, and one next action visible without scrolling.
- Use links sparingly and test them before sharing.
- Export both PDF and PNG if the recipient has not specified a format.
Want a bounded edit? The current first-three pilot is $29 for a one-page PDF and PNG with one revision, after materials review and scope/deadline agreement. Request materials review.
